General Summary
The Electronics Department Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all gear in the Electronics department. This includes inspecting, prepping, maintaining, and organizing all electronics per 4Wall quality standards and procedures.

Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Personal Responsibilities
- With the team, successfully execute all pick lists on a timely and consistent basis.
- Checking in and out orders including scanning equipment barcodes and/or entering quantity count data in Rental Works.
- Cleaning, updating, and organizing the inventory and the Electronics department.
- General repair and maintenance of the equipment, including providing technical support to customers as needed.
- Preparing/prepping equipment for orders and return equipment back to inventory.
- Wear the proper safety mask when painting at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager.
Key Requirements
- Working knowledge of lighting systems control platforms and console layout for operation is required.
- Demonstrated technical/electronics training and/or experience.
- Must have good troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience. Gaps must be explainable.
- Must have a positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills.
- Experience in entertainment lighting industry is strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to remain clean-shaven to wear a respirator and in order to pass the medical clearance for fit test.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; duties include loading and unloading trucks, as well as moving projection equipment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and safely use hand and power tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
