Supervises: Senior Account Executives, Account Executives, Account Managers


General summary 

The Location Sales Manager (LSM) has primary responsibility of providing oversight, coordination, supervision, planning, administration, training, and support for all sales activities and programs as well as serve as the primary point of contact for their location for all sales related initiatives.  This manager will build rapport with both internal/external clients and work closely with the Operations Manager to maintain business commitments that allow fulfillment of defined service agreements

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the VP of Sales, RGM, and GM to establish sales objectives, forecasts, budgets, and strategies. 
  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company-wide initiatives.  
  • Ensure compliance of brand standard procedures and policies.
  • Ensure company’s reputation and corporate values are upheld and enhanced.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives for the location, both individually and for the locations sales team. 
  • Ensure proper recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining of employees in coordination with the GM; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Plan, organize, facilitate, attend, and/or participate in sales meetings. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the location and company-wide.
  • Analyzing of client needs, quoting prices, preparing the contract and closing orders 
  • Establish and maintain strategic business relationships
  • Evaluating and reporting on lost sales activity.
  • Suggest new business opportunities in current local markets for all current and new customers and revenue streams.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entries, per company standards, into the CRM database includes monitoring all team member entries and training, when needed.  
  • Communicating the equipment and services contracted to all 4Wall departments to ensure all details of the event are covered
  • Coordinate with GM, RGM, and VP of Sales on approval process for non-standard pricing.  Serve as the first level of approval for team members for exceptions to the pricing schedule.  
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Team Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and direct all sales team members
  • Actively participate in the interviewing, selection and hiring, training and cross-training, performance management, resolving problems, and recommending discipline and/or termination when appropriate, in coordination with HR and the GM, of all staff members when necessary.
  • Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture building initiatives 
  • Ensure that all employees are working in a safe manner per company policy.  Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns  
  • Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 

Key Requirements

  • Completion of bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.  
  • 5+ years of previous sales and customer service or comparable years in upwardly mobile positions
  • Extensive list of contacts within the industry  
  • Vast knowledge of the respective local markets
  • Familiarity with entertainment lighting, audio, and other special event equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
  • Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which drives revenue
  • Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals
  • Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives. 

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
