Regional Account Executive

General Summary
The Regional Account Executive is responsible for finding business opportunities and managing customer relationships. This will include work in outside sales visiting clients for business development purposes as well as inside sales functions such as quoting and bid process support. This position is less of a job and more of a lifestyle. Since we service the entertainment industries, our customers are going to work when everybody else is going home. In this role, you will get customer calls in evenings and on weekends. If Monday to Friday daylight hours fits best for you, this job does not.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- In coordination with the Location Sales Manager and Senior Account Executives, plan and organize a sales strategy for development of revenue streams with new business contacts and customers.
- Provide excellent service to existing clients through continued communication to maintain and improve their relationship with the company
Personal Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives as determined with Regional General Manager.
- Proactively pursuing in-the-field sales calls.
- Completing reports summarizing customer visits
- Proactively building strategic business relationships
- Coordination with customers on complex projects from concept to completion.
- Analyzing of client needs, quoting prices, preparing the contract and closing orders
- Increasing market awareness and market share through client relationship building
- Evaluating and reporting on lost sales activity
- Communicating the equipment and services contracted to all 4Wall departments to ensure all details of the event are covered
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entries, per company standards, into the RentalWorks database
- Coordinating outside contract services as required
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor or General Manager
Key Requirements
- Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel.
- 3-5 years of previous sales and customer service or comparable years in upwardly mobile positions
- Willingness to visit customer event locations during set up and tear down
- Willingness to “knock on doors” and pursue new business relationships
- Significant list of contacts within the industry is beneficial, not required.
- Substantial knowledge of the respective local markets is beneficial, not required
- Familiarity with entertainment lighting, audio, and other special event equipment is beneficial, not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement processes which drive revenue
- Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
