DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES

JOB DESCRIPTION

FLSA Status: ExemptEEO Class: 4 - Sales Workers
Department: Sales 
Reports to: VP of Client Services/Senior VP of Global Client Strategy
Supervises: N/A


General Summary 

The Director of Client Services is responsible for finding significant business opportunities and managing important customer relationships.  This will include work in outside sales visiting clients for business development purposes and some amount of inside sales functions such as quoting and bid process support.  

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the VP of Client Services and the Senior VP of Global Client Strategy, plan and organize strategies for development of revenue streams with new business contacts and customers.
  • Provide excellent service to existing clients through continued communication to maintain and improve their relationship with the company

Personal Responsibilities

  • Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives as determined with the VP of Client Services and the Senior VP of Global Client Strategy.  
  • Proactively pursuing in-the-field sales calls.
  • Proactively building strategic business relationships
  • Coordination with customers on complex projects from concept to completion.  
  • Analyzing of client needs, quoting prices, preparing the contract for approval by the VP of Client Services or Senior VP of Global Client Strategy  
  • Increasing market awareness and market share through client relationship building 
  • Evaluating and reporting on lost sales activity 
  • Communicating the equipment and services contracted to all 4Wall departments to ensure all details of the event are coverered
  • Coordinating outside contract services as required
  • Other duties as assigned.  

Team Responsibilities

  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings. 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer relations
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor or the Senior VP of Global Client Strategy

Key Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of previous sales and customer service or comparable years in upwardly mobile positions
  • Substantial list of contacts within the industry  
  • Extensive knowledge of the respective local markets
  • Great familiarity with entertainment lighting, audio, and other special event equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
  • Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel

  • Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives. 

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.

Availability:

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends frequently
