We are currently seeking a Media Server & Camera Prep Technician to join our 4Wall Warehouse team in Aylesbury.

The ideal candidatewill be highly organised, detail oriented and an effective communicator with the ability to work well as part of a team.

As Media Server and Camera Prep Technician you will check media servers and cameras in and out and test, clean, and maintain equipment to 4Wall standards. You will work as part of the wider warehouse team to assist in other areas as required.
 

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete quality control checks on cameras, lenses and media servers ready for next job.
• Reporting any faults, to the warehouse manager for repair.
• Highlighting any missing equipment as soon as possible.
• Keeping software licences up to date.
• Reading and understanding video schematics and building media server racks to a spec/client’s specification on request.
• Setting up network systems, input and output matrices along with installing the correct input and output cards required.
• Follow and implement safe working practices and maintain Health & Safety (H&S) standards, ensuring that equipment is installed within the provision of H&S and that H&S briefings are held.
• Producing appropriate documentation for all jobs allocated to you.
• Completing Warehouse Check In & Check Out procedures using our Rental software.
