Tony
LED Repair Technician
With four decades of experience working in the AV industry, Tony joined the 4Wall team with the skill and determination to master LED – and that’s exactly what he did.
Tony has worked as our LED Repair Specialist for over five years now and knows everything there is to know about LED, how it works and how to fix it. And at the end of 2018 he was chosen as our very first Smart Star – selected for his constant hard work and dedication to his role.
Tony said: “I love the independence that comes with my role at Smart AV. I have my own private workstation which I built up myself, I have made my own tools and am always creating new tools to tackle new challenges and the latest LED equipment. It’s never boring at 4Wall, every day there’s something new and that’s what I love.”
Tiylan
Account Manager
Tiylan joined 4Wall as an of our apprentice in January 2017, which was set up to provide new opportunities for local college students, and is now aan established Account Manager working with some of our largest clients across the exhibition sector.
Tiylan said: "There is so much to learn within the AV industry as it is always changing. New products get released and old products get discontinued. However, when you work for a company like 4Wall who are always up to date with the latest and greatest technology, the flow is constant, and you get to learn something new every day. There aren’t many industries like AV: it is fast paced, it involves long hours and it can be very stressful. But there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a project through from start to finish and all of your hard work pay off."
Jake
Warehouse Manager
Over the course of three years Jake, our Warehouse Manager at 4Wall London, has worked his way up to take on a key managerial position within the 4Wall team.
Jake first started working as a labourer after he finished college, helping out with building work and odd jobs at the warehouse and office space that 4Wall were set to occupy. After 4Wall moved in he was quickly snapped up as a Warehouse Assistant, and a few years later he was promoted to a Senior Technician. After another year of hardwork, Jake was promoted again, this time to Duty Warehouse Manager on a trial basis.
When asked how he managed to achieve such a lot in such a short space of time, Jake said: "If you want to be successful, then you will be. While I fell into my very first job at 4Wall, my hardwork and dedication has helped me to achieve my goals. It also helps that I love the people, the work environment and have always felt supported at 4Wall. Now I have a career without having to sit in a classroom."
