The Lighting Repair Technician will be responsible for ensuring all lighting equipment is maintained to the highest standards.  This includes diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and servicing a wide range of lighting fixtures and associated equipment to ensure reliability and readiness for deployment on projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of professional lighting equipment.
  • Carry out servicing and refurbishment of lighting fixtures, including optics, gobos, lenses, motors, fans and internal components.
  • Perform mechanical, electronic and firmware-based repairs on lights and associated equipment.

  • Prioritise and plan repair work to ensure equipment is serviced in line with operational schedules and job requirements.
  • Accurately record faults and parts used within the asset management system.

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles as part of the warehouse team.

About You

  • Experience repairing and maintaining professional lighting equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with moving lights, LED fixtures, lighting control systems and associated accessories.
  • Good manual dexterity and a steady hand for precise repair work.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to visually inspect and identify faults.
  • Comfortable using computers and technical systems, including asset management software.
  • Clear written and spoken English for recording repairs and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Organised and able to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on professional to take ownership of lighting equipment repairs, ensuring it performs flawlessly for every live event.

Initially, the role will require travel to our Blackburn site while our warehouse relocation is underway. From summer onwards, the position will be based in Hertford. All travel costs associated with this transition will be covered by the company.
