Does content type affect which pixel pitch I should choose?

Resolution, Screen Size, and Technical Considerations

Absolutely. Content is the most important variable after viewing distance. Static content with text, logos, data visualizations, or solid color blocks demands a finer pixel pitch because the human eye is very good at spotting individual pixels in static, high-contrast material. Motion-heavy content like video playback, dynamic graphics, and camera feeds is more forgiving because persistence of vision naturally smooths over a wider pixel gap.

Bottom line: if your event is presentation-heavy with slides and branding, lean toward finer pitch. If it's a concert with full-motion video content, you can go coarser without a visible quality loss.
