How do I rig or hang a projector safely?

Planning and Practical Considerations

Rigging (also called flying) a projector means suspending it from overhead structure using rated hardware. Smaller projectors use a fly bracket with a single rigging point. Larger venue projectors use rigging or stacking frames with up to four rigging points for stability and precise aiming.

Larger projectors typically ship pre-installed in their rigging frame. Smaller projectors may need a fly bracket requested separately. If the projector will be ground-stacked on a table or cart rather than flown, the rigging frame isn't needed. Your 4Wall account team can spec the right rigging hardware for your projector model and venue conditions.
