What does IP65 mean for LED panels?

Resolution, Screen Size, and Technical Considerations

IP65 is an ingress protection rating that tells you a panel is fully sealed against dust (the "6") and can withstand low-pressure water jets from any direction (the "5"). In practical terms, an IP65-rated LED panel can survive rain, wind-blown mist, dust, and the general abuse of outdoor environments.

If your LED wall is going anywhere near weather, crowd traffic, or even a semi-outdoor space like a concourse or rooftop, you need IP65-rated tiles. Indoor-only panels don't have this protection and can be damaged or fail when exposed to moisture or particulates.
