What is LED pixel pitch?

LED Pixel Pitch Basics

Pixel pitch is the distance (in millimeters) between the center of one LED pixel and the center of the adjacent pixel on a panel. It directly determines the resolution of the screen. A smaller pixel pitch number means pixels are packed more tightly together, producing a higher-resolution image. A larger number means wider spacing and a lower resolution.

Common pixel pitches for live events range from 1.5mm (ultra-fine, close-up applications) to 8mm+ (large-format concert screens viewed from a distance).
