    Description

    The Hi5-4K is a compact converter designed for monitoring 4K workflows by combining four SDI feeds into a single HDMI 2.0 output. It produces HDMI video up to 4K/UltraHD while generating HDR metadata in accordance with HDMI v2.0a and CTA-861.3, and it supports HLG over HDMI. The unit is built for portable, on-set and rack-mountable monitoring where reliable format conversion and accurate color/metadata handling are required.

    • Flexible color and bit-depth options, SDI: 4:2:2, 4:4:4 YCbCr, 4:4:4 RGB, 8 or 10 bit. HDMI: 4:2:2, 4:4:4 YCbCr, 4:2:0 YCbCr for 4K/UltraHD HFR (8 bit only), and 4:4:4 RGB with 8 or 10 bit where supported.
    • Audio passthrough, up to 16 channels embedded audio over SDI and up to 8 channels over HDMI as supported by the format.
    • SDI mapping options, supports SMPTE 425 Level A and B, quadrant or 2SI mapping for multichannel 4K sources.
