Audio Prep Technician
Location: LondonWe are currently seeking an experienced Audio Prep Technician join our team at 4Wall.
Based at our Head Office in Harlow, and working as closely with the wider warehouse prep team, you will be responsible for the prep and maintenance of audio equipment. Ensuring that deadlines are met and standards remain high as we pride ourself on exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with the prep, maintenance and operation of a wide range of audio equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, microphones and both analogue and digital control desks.
As an Audio Prep Technician you will be highly organised, detail oriented and an effective communicator with the ability to work well as part of the wider warehouse prep team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prep audio equipment as per the client’s request or job requirements
- Pull, collate, and scan equipment for checkout and report any shortages
- Scan returned equipment, report any missing or damaged items, and ensure equipment is returned to the correct, designated storage area
- Test, clean, and maintain equipment per 4Wall standards
- Assist in the loading and unloading of vans and trucks, with the regular stock taking of equipment, with rigging and de-rigging when requested, and in other areas of the warehouse as required
Qualifications and pre-requisites
- Broad knowledge of prep, maintenance and operation of standard Audio equipment such as speakers, amplifiers, microphones and both analogue and digital control desks is essential.
- Demonstrated electrical/technical training and/or experience is required
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Must be able to take direction and work accurately in a fast paced environment without supervision.
- Excellent team player
- The ability to facilitate overtime as required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25kg, as duties include loading and unloading trucks
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Excellent aural, visual and manual dexterity skills
Working hours
Full-time - 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
