The Barco E2 4K Event Master Processor provides high-density, real-time screen management for live events where multiple high-resolution sources and flexible output routing are required. Engineered for rental applications, the system supports native 4K inputs and outputs at refresh rates up to 60Hz and combines mixing, scaling, edge blending and multiviewing in a single rack device.

• High input density: Up to 28 video inputs via eight Event Master input cards, including up to 8x 4K inputs. Supported formats include SD/HD/3G-SDI (6G ready), HDMI 1.4a and DisplayPort.
• Flexible outputs: Four output cards provide up to 14 outputs, including up to 3x 4K outputs at 60Hz, multiple HDMI and SDI outputs, and two HDMI outputs dedicated to multiviewer monitoring.
• Powerful program and Aux routing: Eight mixable program outputs configurable as single screens or tiled/blended widescreens. Four scaled Aux outputs user-definable for monitoring or downstream destinations. Any output can be assigned as an Aux for a total of up to 12 Aux destinations.
• Advanced image control: Independent background mixer per output, up to 16 mixable layers or 32 scalable PIP/key layers, per-output color correction, borders, drop shadows, luma key and keyframe PIP motion.
• Precise blending and sync: Independent edge blending and feathering control, genlock via analog reference BNC (bi-level/blackburst and tri-level), and S3D sync I/O where required.
• Multiviewer and monitoring: Flexible, user-definable multiview layouts with two dedicated outputs to monitor inputs, outputs, preview and Aux screens in real time.
• Control and compatibility: Event Master screen management software for PC and Mac, Gigabit Ethernet control, and HDCP compliance.
